SOMA’s mission is to promote sustainable tourism within our national conservation system. Our focus is to manage and invest in properties in close proximity to our rivers, lakes, mountains, and forests.
Our ecosystem is fragile, and something needs to be done to change our habits. We realize that human beings are set in their ways, and they will not alter their ways without positive reinforcement.
People will always need vacations from their day to day lives. Over development of our coastlines is not sustainable. We focus on regions that place a strong emphaisis on conserving their precious landscape, who take a stance against lucrative land sales.
We started our mission in the Great Smokey Mountains of Tennessee. with over 11 million visitors each year, The Smokey Mountain National Park is the most visited national park in the United States.
In the heart of the park is Gatlinburg, TN. This quaint mountain town is one of America’s best-hidden gems. The town is famous for its collection of mountain top log cabins, family attractions such as Dollyworld, and close proximity to some of the fastest-growing cities in the United States.
